Around 20 officers of West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency dredge up the Slipi connecting channel, Palmerah.
Palmerah Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Pepen stated it was carried out from Jalan Brigjen Katamso until Jalan Kota Bambu Selatan V.
Connecting Channel on Jalan Jembatan Besi Raya Cleaned"It is targeted to be complete in three days ahead," he expressed, Friday (10/2).
He explained the channel as long as 500 meters with 200 centimeters width and 180 centimeters height was already filled by mud and waste as thick as 20-30 centimeters.
"After this action, we hoped the water can flow smoothly and minimize inundation and flooding," he hoped.
